Obituary for Rita Karen Staton (Allison)

Rita Karen Staton, age 54, of Oneonta passed away Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at her residence.

Survivors include her parents Vernon Allison and Reba Creasap; son Mark Staton; daughters Sharon Hall, Sandra (Robert) Manning, Jennifer Goodwin (Jesse Quinn); Kristina Fanning; brothers James Anthony Allison, Arthur Gerald Hutton, Shawn Patrick Creasap; and 15 grandchildren.She is preceded in death by son Daniel Goodwin.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 at 12:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Brown Cemetery.

Mrs. Staton had a love of helping people and had been employed as a nurse at the Golden Living Center.

Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
