Obituary for Margie Inez Copeland (Reid)

Mrs. Margie Inez (Reid) Copeland, age 93, of Locust Fork passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Survivors include son Creag (Carol) Copeland; daughter Patti (Jay) Bowling; brother Gary Reid; grandchildren Randy (Hallie) Copeland, Cody (Hannah) Copeland, Crista (Aaron) Newman, Austin (Britney) Bowling, Jordan (Payton) Bowling, Colton (Erla) Bowling; great grandchildren Braxton, Xander, and Ruthie Copeland, Copeland and Gracie Newman, and Isla Bowling. She is preceded in death by her parents Julius and Ruby Reid; and her husband Charles (Kenneth) Copeland.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Tabernacle Cemetery in Locust Fork, Alabama.


Mrs. Copeland was a member of the "Alfa" Ladies Group; a "Cowbelle" with the Blount County Cattlewomen's Association; Ms. Copeland was an avid gardener and always preserved her produce with canning or freezing; she relished working hard for her family and adored shopping.
