Obituary for Ira Stephens
Ira Stephens age 81 , of Cleveland passed away Friday, November 14th, 2014 at St. Vincents East.
Survivors include sister Ithoma Miller, a special nephew and fishing buddy Tommy Latta, special caregiver James Howard Stephens and a host of neices and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Jewel Cook Stephens, parents William and Lilly (Endsley) Stephens, brothers Howard Stephens and Floyd Stephens, sisters Pernie Stephens Riddle, Evelyn Green, Mary Pheny McClellan, and Connie Thomas.
The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Monday, November 17th, 2014 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17th, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Mt. Joy cemetary.
Mr. Stephens was employed as a Farmer.
Mr. Stephens enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and loved Alabama football..
Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
