Obituary for Vicki Gail Peeks (Bice)

Vicki Gail (Bice) Peeks, age 60, of Locust Fork passed away Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 at St. Vincent's East. Vicki was big-hearted, fun loving, and very special to her family. She enjoyed decorating, and was a excellent cook because she loved her cookbooks. Her family recalls how she loved to shop, not purchasing 1 of anything, always in 2 or more. She will be a greatly missed MiMi by her grandchildren, Alexus and Harper.

Survivors include her husband James Mancel Peeks; son Christopher Peeks; daughter Christy (Brian) Bowman; brothers Danny Bice, Ricky Bice; sisters Paula (Harold) Gorham, Diane (Charlie) McLemore; brother-in-laws Ricky Peeks, Rodney (Shelly) Peeks; grandchildren Alexus and Harper Bowman; special cousin Paulette Doss; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Mary Bice; parents-in-law James and Jessie Peeks; and brother Michael Bice.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Monday, September 26th, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 26th, 2016 at 1:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Youngblood Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama.

Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
