Obituary for Ruby K Dean
Mrs. Ruby Dean age 98, of Oneonta passed away Friday, August 28th, 2020 at TLC Nursing Home.
Survivors include her son Mike Dean (Denise), daughter Peggy Finch (Ronnie), grandsons Christopher Finch (Tina), Stephen Dean, granddaughters Lauren Faulkner (Alex), Rhonda Meadows (Richard), great grandchildren Nikki Matienzo (Taylor), Davie Farish, Victoria Farish, Morgan Meadows, Courtney Meadows, Hunter Finch, Dean Finch, and Harper Jo Faulkner, brother Gene Stephens and sister Shirley York. Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her parents John Fayette and Nina Stephens, husband Milford Dean, sisters Pauline Box and Opal Morrow, granddaughter Michelle Finch Farish.
The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, August 30th, 2020 at 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 3:30 pm in the Dailey's Chapel Cemetery, 222 Bynum Drive Oneonta, Alabama 35121.
Mrs. Dean loved gardening, especially roses. She enjoyed collecting pottery, sewing, quilting, and making apple pies. She had a special place in her heart for all children.
In lieu of flowers family request donations to Union Hill Baptist Church or Dailey's Chapel Cemetery.
