Obituary for Robert Roy Quinn

Robert Roy Quinn, age 69, of Trafford passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Born on April 11, 1949 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Thurman and Kathleen Estelle Quinn, Mr. Quinn was a loving and serving Minister of the Gospel for over 40 years. He was a member of the Holiness Mission Tabernacle. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife Pat for over 50 years. He loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. Family meant everything to him.

Survivors include wife Patricia Quinn; son Billy Quinn (Cathy); daughter April Quinn Lutz; brothers Kenneth Quinn (Kim), Mikel Quinn (Marie), Mark Quinn (Charlene); sisters Joyce Humphries (Ed), Sharon Humphryes (Ricky), Sheila Fondren (Wallace); grandchildren Brady Quinn, Breanna Quinn Brasher (Travis); a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Mr. Quinn was a veteran of the United States Army who served in the Vietnam War. He became known as a "jack of all trades" who designed and built his family home. If you asked Mr. Quinn he would tell you that his favorite vacation spot was the mountains.

The family will receive friends at the Mount Calvary Tabernacle Church (28310 State Hwy 79 Locust Fork, Alabama 35097) on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Bro. Kenneth Quinn and Bro. David Roper will officiate services following at 1:00 pm in Mount Calvary Tabernacle Church. Burial to follow at Tabernacle Cemetery in Locust Fork, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Brady Quinn, Wayne Fondren, Mitchell Humphryes, Travis Brasher, Brannon Quinn, and John Self.
