Obituary for Richard George Reid (Reid)

Richard G.Reid age 60 , of Hayden passed away Thursday, February 18th, 2016 of natural causes. .
Mr. Reid was an AVID NASCAR fan since he watched his first race when it was called the Winston 500 and he has
followed it until this day and was looking forward to the race this weekend. He was a retired auto mechanic by trade and of the Baptist Faith.

Rick was preceded in death by his father Hugo Douglas Reid, his brother, Randall Douglas Reid and grandparents Ralph and Clara Cote' and Byron and Agnes Creel.

He is survived by his mother Alyce Joyce Reid of Hayden, cousins Freida Reid and Dennis Reid, uncle Allen Creel, nieces and nephews and many relatives in Alabama, Arizona and California. He also leaves behind his girl cats "Kissy Kat and Molly".

Visitation will be 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Sunday - Feb. 21, 2016 at Blount Co/Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL. Burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Graves Gap Cemetery, Hayden, AL



Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
