Panzy Ruth (Helms) Vaughn, age 60, of Remlap passed away Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Mrs. Vaughn enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden. She doted on her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved fishing and was an avid Auburn football fan.

Left to cherish her memories are husband Vernon Vaughn; son David Phillip (Jessica) Madden; daughters Danielle Renee (Ernest Gordon) Madden; Samantha Christine (Nick) Washburn; brother Ronnie Helms; sisters Barbara (O.B.) Butler, Linda (Dwight) Melvin, Willie Heath; grandchildren Zoie Nicole Madden, Barron Washburn; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Mrs. Vaughn is preceded in death by her parents David Clarence and Mariam Ruth Helms; brother Clarence David Helms.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Monday, October 1st, 2018 from10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to be held at Bethlehem Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama.
