Obituary for Nancy Ola Hollingsworth (Thomas)
Nancy Ola (Thomas ) Hollingsworth age 77, of Locust Fork, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by her sons Matthew Paul Hollingsworth(Shannon) and John Russell Hollingsworth(Amy), her sister Carolyn Rochelle Bryant, grandchildren Caleb Hollingsworth(Kaley), Ashley Hollingsworth, Delynn Hollingsworth, Shelbie Hollingsworth, Clayton Hollingsworth and Emma Hollingsworth. She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Ora Mae Washburn Thomas, her husband Paul Eldridge Hollingsworth and her daughter Brenda Shawn Hollingsworth.
The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Metzler officiating. Burial to follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Caleb Hollingsworth, Clayton Hollingsworth, Jason Hollingsworth, Greg Nix, Keith Bullard and Randy Sweat.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was a member of the Faith Chapel Mennonite Church in Locust Fork, Alabama. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and reading. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a gentle soul who never spoke an ill word about anyone. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family very much, but most of all she loved her Lord.
