Mary JoAnn Jones, age 69, of Remlap passed away Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was an avid Alabama fan; she loved her dog "Saban". She enjoyed cooking, flowers, crossword puzzles and was known as "a jack of all trades". Mrs. Jones cherished her church and doted on her grandchildren.

Survivors include husband Richard Jones; sons Scott (Amy) Jones, Jimmy Jones; daughters Robin Cowell, April (Jason) Johnson; sisters Elizabeth Compher, Jan Norris, Becky Benton; 6 grandchildren and lots of friends. She is preceded in death by parents Jack and Elizabeth Jones; brother Jack Jones.

The family will hold a memorial service at Free Will Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:30 pm.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
