Larry Clifton Shockley age 68, of Southport Fl. passed away Friday, June 29th, 2018 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons: Larry Shane Shockley, Chad Clifton Shockley and Patrick Dane Shockley, his sister: Linda Lynn and six grandchildren. Mr. Shockley is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Clifford Grady Shockley and Mrs. Gladys Mae Shockley, three brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home - Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018 - Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home at 11AM. Burial to follow at High Rock Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama with Military Honors.

Mr. Shockley was retired from the Edgewater Beach Resort as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was involved in the United Way, enjoyed his bowling league and deep sea fishing. He also was excellent with carpentry work could design and build just about anything and an avid Alabama Football Fan.
