Joseph (Joe) Carpenter age 65, of Michigan passed away Thursday, March 21st, 2019 at St. Vincent's Blount.

Survivors include his loving wife Judy Carpenter; Son Joseph Jesse James Carpenter II; Daughter Jessica Winifred Kidder(Bradley); Stepsons David Charles Corder, Christopher William Glenard Corder, Brandenlee James Corder, and Randall Robert Corder; Stepdaughter Margaritte Ann Corder; Sisters Linda Phillippo(Jerry), Debbie Cooley(Don), and Dixie Carrier. He also had 4 grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. Mr. Carpenter is proceeded in death by his parents William and Winifred Carpenter; Brother Melvin Kissling; Sisters Ruth Ann Martin and Rosemarie Michels.

Mr. Carpenter was a truck driver, for most his life, and loved to work in his workshop. He also enjoyed gardening, yardwork, hunting and fishing.

Family will receive friends on Sunday March 24, 2019 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:00pm on Sunday March 24, 2019 in the chapel at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home.
