Obituary for John Norman Terrell Sr.
John Norman Terrell Sr. age 74, of Locust Fork, Alabama passed away Sunday April 16, 2023 at UAB Hospital.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Joan Terrell, sons James Terrell (Erin), John Terrell Jr. (Andrea), brothers Vernon Jackson (Peggy), Don Jackson (Linda), his sister Sue Childers (Jerry- "Chick").
Mr. Terrell was also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members. He had 7 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents James Emory and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Terrell, his daughter Beatrice Terrell and brothers Frank, Bill and James Terrell.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 22, 2023 at the Holy Ground Worship Center, 1211 Alabama 160 Warrior, Alabama 35180. at 2:00 PM.
John Norman Terrell Sr. enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, loved to help his grandchildren work on various different things, he also loved to help other people. He was a wonderful husband and father. He enjoyed watching old westerns, racing, and wrestling, but most of all he loved his wife very much and was always taking care of and meeting all her needs. He loved all his family very much. He will be greatly missed.
