Mr. Culwell was survived by his wife of 62 years Evelyn Culwell, his son Rick Culwell (Terri), granddaughters Breanna Culwell Sims (Triston) and Brooklyn Culwell, niece Dana Culwell Reid (Brian) and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Grady and Lenora (Love) Culwell Parvin, his infant daughter Pamela Culwell and his brother James A. Culwell.
Renowned for his unwavering passion for the great outdoors, Grady was an ardent deer hunter and fisherman, embracing the serenity and majesty of the untamed wilderness. His love for the lakes and forests was second only to the love he held for his family, who now mourn the loss of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Grady's professional life was characterized by an illustrious career in Boat Mechanics, leaving an indelible mark upon the community he served with commitment and diligence.
The Culwell family invites you to join them in honoring Grady's memory. Funeral services will take place at Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home, located in Cleveland, AL. Visitation is scheduled for March 9, 2024, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with the service following immediately at 2:00pm.
