Gilbert Galvan Sr. "Big G" age 59, of Blountsville passed away Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at UAB Hospital.

Survivors include wife Sarah Galvan, sons Gilbert Galvan Jr., Johnny, Cuatemo, and Geronimo Galvan, a special nephew Frederico Manuel Aspeitia, daughter Santina Galvan, step daughters Heather Shiffler and Meghan Jarrett, brother David Galvan of Sanger, California; sister Silvia Galvan Aspeitia (Angel), grandchild Silvia Rivera, step grandchildren Isaiah and Audrey Jarrett, special cousins Teresa Galan, Jerry Rosas and a host of other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan Huerta Galvan and Ramona Adelaida De La Rosa, brothers Santos Perez, Juan Galvan Jr., sister Angela Perez, grandchildren Tristan Angel Galvan and Mauriceo Rivera.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, December 20th, 2020 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 20th, 2020 at 3:30 pm in Rock Springs Cemetery, Blountsville, Alabama.

Mr. Galvan loved old cars, cooking, fishing, motorcycles and spending time with his family.
