Gary Steven Awtrey age 82 of Cleveland passed away January 6, 2021 at St., Vincent's East in Birmingham, AL.
Surviving Mr. Awtrey are his niece Anita Sanders (Joey) and a host of nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Bolin and Leta Aretha Awtrey, brothers Andrew, Jimmy, Grant & Willis Awtrey, sister Barbara Champion and an infant sister.
The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Hwy.160, Cleveland, Alabama, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services are Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, AL. Burial will follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery, Rosa, Al.
Mr. Awtrey enjoyed fishing, taking walks and he was an avid Alabama fan.
