Eunice Mozelle (Mathis) Thomas, age 79, of Hayden passed away Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Mrs. Thomas was fond of creating ceramics and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband Terry Wayne Thomas; sons Dwight D. (Sondra) Thomas, Mark K. (Celina) Thomas, Robby (Kaye) Thomas; daughter Phyllis (Donald) Smith; sister Mary Bell; grandchildren Stephen, Jeremy, Jonathan, Tamara, Jennifer, Angela, Bethanny, Kayla, Hilary, Audria; 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eva Mathis; brothers Bill, Jack, John, Herman Mathis; sisters Nancy Campbell, Roberta Wilhite.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at High Rock Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.
