Mr. Ernest (Ernie) Martin Wortham, Jr. age 68, of Oneonta passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2016 at his residence.

Survivors include wife Vickie Sims Wortham; son Todd (Michelle) Wortham; daughter Stacey Wortham; brother Al (Tammy) Wortham; sisters Paula (Tendall) Carter, Lynn Wortham; grandchildren Ashlee Brooke Tidwell, Madison Elisabeth Tidwell, Lacy Renae Patrick; a host of nieces, nephews and lots of friends. He is peceded in death by his parents Ernest and Pauline Wortham Sr.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Wortham Jr. was retired from Local 92 in Birmingham as a iron worker/welder after 50+ years. He was a Master Mason, involved with Abba Shiners of Mobile, enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. He loved cars; especially his corvette. Collected Hot Rod Magazines for many years, and was a avid Alabama fan.
