Obituary for Ernest Ridgeway
Mr. Ernest Ridgeway age 91, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, July 16th, 2020 at Hanceville Nursing Home.
Survivors include: daughter Cindy Reid (Kenny), sons Norris Ridgeway (Jean), Gary Ridgeway (Melinda), sisters Jeanette Sherrer, Homer Jean Smith (Hobby), Maerene Spray, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Vera Ridgeway, wife Anna Sue Ridgeway, sons Cliff and Wally Ridgeway.
The family will receive friends at Green's Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church 811 Green's Chapel Road Cleveland, Alabama 35049, Sunday, July 19th, 2020 from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 19th, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Green's Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow in Green's Chapel Cemetery
Mr. Ridgeway loved farming and mechanics. He was always a big helper to the community, and an elder in his church.
Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family and funeral home request that face mask be worn in the church.
