Obituary for Dorothy Mae Pearman (Copeland)

Dorothy Mae Copeland Pearman, age 85, of Cleveland passed away peacefully Friday, February 19th, 2016 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham.

Survivors include her son-in-law Roger Dale Campbell; brothers Ottis (Lanette) Copeland, Robert (Opal) Copeland; her sisters Pluma Newman, Annie Ruth (Charles) Agnew; grandchildren Jennifer Belk, Karen (Brian) Boswell; great grandchildren Bo Barnes, Luke Barnes, Britney Boswell, Miranda Boswell; great great grandchild Addison Barnes; niece and caregiver Glenda (Jimmy) Burns. She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Ada Copeland; her husband James Everett Pearman; daughter Sheila Adale Campbell; brothers Alton. Earley, J. V., and Marvin Copeland; and sister Ruby Mantooth.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Sunday, February 21st from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 22nd at 1:00 pm at the Westside Baptist Church 37270 State Hwy 79 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with burial to follow at Hood Cemetery in Royal, Alabama.

Mrs. Pearman was retired from Blount Memorial Hospital in Environmental Services. She loved traveling, dangling her hook in the stream with family and friends, watching game shows on television (especially Steve Harvey), and a ball fan of anything her grandchildren or great grandchildren were involved with.
