David Frank Gardner, age 72, of Locust Fork passed away Friday, April 10th, 2020 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Born November 2, 1947 in Cullman County, David loved race cars; he coached slow pitch softball for many years. He was an avid Alabama fan, Dale Ernhardt Sr, and Jr fan and he adored his family.

Left to cherish precious memories are wife Linda Gardner; sons Jeffrey David Gardner, Joseph Todd Gardner; daughter Deedra Marie Gardner Baker; brothers Gary Bert Gardner, Morris Gardner; sister Charlotte Faye Gardner Massey; grandchildren Jeffrey Blake Gardner, Lyndsey Brooke Gardner, Teia Marie Baker, Emily Jordan Baker, Averi Breann Baker, Natalie Jade Arthur; great grandchildren Lanie Gardner Egnoski, Mallory Brooke Gardner, Ayden Blake Gardner, Braylee Sky Walker, Rylan Stone Walker, Grayson Paul Walker, Ava Grace Gardner, Jaylan Blake Gardner, Kinleigh Brooke Gardner; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Lee and Mary Gladys Gardner, his brother Danny Buck Gardner.

The family is planning to hold a memorial service at a later time this summer.
