Clarence (C. C.) Calvert Holt, age 69, of Locust Fork passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21st, 2019 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Mr. Holt adored his family. He was an avid Alabama football fan and faithful Jeff Gordon Nascar fan. He was well known in the area for his racing abilities. He enjoyed cooking, dancing, traveling, and telling jokes. He believed in living life to the fullest always.

Left to cherish special memories are wife Teresa Cagle Holt; son Clarence Calvert "Chucky" Holt Jr. and wife Becky; daughters Kristy Holt Tigue and husband Scott, Amy Holt Turner, Kris Holt Tanner and husband Micah, brothers Paul Dean Holt, Gary Ray Holt and wife Jan, Sandy Hayden Holt and wife Michelle, sisters Phyllis Holt Ervin and husband Charles, Violet Holt Pippins, Pat Holt Standridge and husband Jack, Joan Holt Hilton, Donna Holt Myrick and husband Kenneth; grandchildren Kendra, Kaleb, Joshua, Dayton, Alex, Jackie, Andrew, Elizabeth, Dustin, Raimie, Malachi, Isaiah; numerous great grandchildren and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Hayden Edwin and Ruby Jewel Holt; brothers James Edwin Holt, Dennis Wayne Holt; sister Sandra Jo Holt; brother in laws Buford Pippin, Bill Hinton; sister in law Bertha Holt.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 25th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Locust Fork Baptist Church where he will lie in state from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial to follow at Hays Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.
