Obituary for Betty Ann Dial (McAnnally)

Betty Ann (McAnnally ) Dial age 93, of Blountsville, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Dial is survived by her sons Micky Dial(Pam) and Phillip Dial(Rhonda), her daughter Judy Dial, her sisters Jane Gamble, Nell Butts and Carolyn Adams, her sister in love Sue Dial, grandchildren Mitchell Dial, Brian Keener, Brandon Keener(Krystal), Rebekah Laddie(Sawyer) and Preston Dial, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, she was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Mrs. Dial was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruby Kelton McAnnally, her husband of 63 years Paul M. Dial, her sister Lois Wideman(Jim), her brothers James McAnnally, Norman McAnnally(Charlotte), Joe McAnnally(Gail) and her baby brother Douglas McAnnally.

The family will receive friends at the Blountsville First Baptist Church Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Blountsville First Baptist Church, with Pastor Randall Edmondson officiating. Burial to follow at Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Brandon Keener, Mitchell Dial, Gene Price, Barry Adams, Stephen Adams, Jonathan Adams and Mark Gamble.

Mrs. Dial was a member of the Blountsville First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Blountsville Garden Club, the Blountsville Culture Club, the Blountsville Friends of the Library and she volunteered for hospice for many years. Mrs. Dial loved her church and was very active fulfilling many duties there, such as cooking for the church and teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed working with her flowers, cooking, gardening, freezing and canning, but most of all she loved her Lord and her family.
