Obituary for Ann R, Vaughn
Ann R. Vaughn, age 83 of Cleveland, AL passed away February 9th, 2021 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, AL.
Survivors include her daughter Rachael Sumpter, sons Robert Vaughn, Joe Vaughn (Sandy), Timothy Vaughn (Patricia), Billy Vaughn (Donna) Clyde Vaughn, Jr. (Becky) David Vaughn (Kerri), Chris Jones (Becca), sister Jean Marsh, brother Charles Robbins (Pam). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vaughn is preceded in by her parents Joel T. and Anne Mae Creel Robbins, husband Clyde Vaughn, Sr., brothers J.T. Robbins II, Leon Robbins & Harold Robbins, daughter, Ramona St. John and grandson Trey Vaughn.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 12, 2021 at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17889 State Hwy 160, Cleveland, AL. from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services are Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with Bro. Randy Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery, Rosa, AL
Mrs. Vaughn favorite past time was riding in the country with her daughter discovering how many little side roads led to a community. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was "Granny" to all the children in her community.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home in care of Bro. Randy Hale.
